Since 1975 Community Players has striven to deliver the highest quality theatre to Beatrice and Southeast Nebraska. Our goal is to promote, encourage and increase the knowledge, appreciation and practice of live theatre in Southeast Nebraska.

Our theatre, located in downtown Beatrice, provides a flexible venue for producing a variety of productions ranging from large cast musicals to intimate comedies and dramas. We recently completed a capital campaign to fund building renovations and equipment upgrades.

Thanks to the skills and talents of our more than 200 actors and volunteers annual attendance at CP events routinely tops 5,000.

ON STAGE! Performers of all types and with all experience are welcome. CP has an open door casting policy, meaning EVERYONE is welcome to audition and we frequently cast first time performers on stage.

BACK STAGE! Producing a show is more than just the actors on stage. The behind the scenes crews are just as essential to crafting quality productions. We can use volunteers in everything from set construction, to costuming, to box office, to stage management.
