Young Adult Theatre. Started in 2009 YAT provides a framework for members of our community ages 16 to 25 to gain valuable experience both on stage and behind the scenes. Specifically the age range targets those who have aged out of programs like STARS OF SUMMER and ACTING UP but my not be old enough or have enough experience to land major roles in regular season CP productions. YAT allows the production of more cutting-edge or non-traditional productions. Past shows have included world and regional premieres of new works.
This program also provides learning opportunities to teach the next generation of directors and theatre managers the craft of producing. Generally, YAT productions take place in late summer.
Our summer 2013 production is the musical AVENUE Q!! Auditions are June 10, 11. Click here for more information!!!
