Technical Director

Community Players is accepting applications for a creative and skilled individual with a love of the arts to join our staff as Technical Director. This position is part-time and is responsible for production elements related to all shows produced by Community Players, including but not limited to set construction, stage lighting, and audio/visual equipment. 

 

Successful applicants will have experience working with power tools and in a scene shop, the ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders, solid organizational skills and task management, and possess a general theatre knowledge. Experience with--or a capacity to learn--set design programs, light boards, sound consoles, microphone equipment, etc. is necessary. 

 

Hours: 20 hours per week, additional hours only as needed. Hours may be set by the individual.

 

Salary: Beginning at $16 an hour.
