Anastasia: The Musical (Youth Edition) is part of CP's Stars of Summer program, a summer theatre program for students ages 8 to 16. This program accepts all students who enroll and is a great way for students and their parents to become involved with theatre!

Auditions: Wednesday, May 20 from 12:00pm - 3:00pm (All students will stay for the duration of auditions)

What to do: Please prepare no more than one minute (16- to 24-bar cut) of a song of your choosing. It can be as simple as the Happy Birthday song or Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and ideally not from Anastasia. If you would like an accompanist, please provide sheet music. We will also be holding an audition workshop on May 17th if your student would like to get a little more experience before the audition.

About the show: Her past is a mystery. Her future is an adventure. From the twilight of the Russian Empire to the glitz of Paris, a brave young woman sets out to discover the mystery of where she came from. Pursued by ruthless Soviets determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing con man and a lovable ex-aristocrat to join her on an adventure to find the meaning of home, love, and family.

Rehearsal Information: Rehearsals will be held every weekday from 9am-Noon beginning Tuesday, May 26th through Friday, July 3. Tech Week (no absences allowed) will be July 5th - 8th. This includes the only weekend rehearsal on July 5, 2pm-5pm and weekday rehearsals being shifted to 5pm-8pm.
