The STAGE DOOR is the backstage entrance to a theatre that actors, technicians, and all those who make theatre possible first enter through to begin their work. CP's STAGE DOOR youth and educational programming is a portal for young actors to explore a world of creativity, confidence, and a life-long love of the arts. We offer a diverse array of activities for students and adults. Check out the programs below and learn more about the quality educational opportunities offered by CP.
YOUR NEXT BIG ROLE STARTS HERE.

ACTING UP
ACTING UP is an afterschool theatrical experience for students in grades 5 through 8. With 100+ hours of fun, students learn all aspects of production and conclude each semester with a family-friendly production. Participants are accepted to this program through an audition process with an enrollment limit of approximately 30 students, to provide a more customized learning experience.
STARS OF SUMMER
STARS OF SUMMER (formerly the Beatrice Children's Theatre) is a summer theatre program for students ages 8 to 16. Rehearsals are held during the day with a major production staged in late July.
