The evening also includes a catered prime rib dinner, a cash bar, exciting silent auction experiences and packages and sparkling conversation with fellow theatre patrons and community leaders!
Ready to start bidding now?
All Silent Auction packages are live on the website until they close the night of the Gala.
You do not have to attend the Gala to bid or win the prizes.
What is the Gala?
The Gala is CP’s biggest fundraiser event this season. It will be an evening of fun, fundraising, and a chance to get to know CP staff, board and other arts supporters in our community. We are celebrating 50 years of bringing live theatre to Southeast Nebraska as well as looking forward to our next exciting act!
What Should I Wear?
We invite guests to dress in cocktail or gala-inspired attire if they wish, though it is by no means required. You can expect to see some sequins and maybe even a tuxedo or two in the crowd, but please come as you feel most comfortable.
What Should I Expect?
The evening starts out with cocktails, socializing, photo ops, and checking out (and bidding on) our great silent auction packages and raffle items.
The evening will then continue with a buffet dinner catered by Kevin Kimmerling. The buffet will have options for his famous prime rib or smothered chicken, as well as delicious go-withs. If you crave something sweet after dinner, for just a $10 additional donation you can take a trip through a deluxe dessert bar by Kala’s Sifted Sweets. There will also be a cash bar.
Following dinner, our headline entertainment is Curtis Reynolds and his “Broadway Bar.” Curtis is a CP alum and native of Plymouth, and his Broadway Bar is a vibrant, interactive show filled with musical theatre, pop, and classic tunes (plus opportunities to request your favorites). Since debuting this summer, the “Broadway Bar” has earned a loyal following in Omaha, and we are thrilled to bring it here! Interspersed throughout the evening will be CP history and updates as well as the 2026-2027 season reveal. Gala attendees will be the very first to know next season’s exciting line-up of shows!
Why Should I Attend?
Come for the great food and a genuinely fun night out; stay because your presence helps strengthen local theatre and keep the arts thriving in our community.
